Pastor Dan Tidd started the Lighthouse Baptist Church in April of 1985. In the early days the Church met in a storefront on East Washington Street. In just two years the Lord had blessed Pastor and the congregation with a building of their own at the Church's present day location.

Through the vision and leadership of Pastor Tidd the Lighthouse Baptist Church is still faithfully going forward. This year the Church will celebrate it's 25th year of ministry, while Pastor and Mrs. Tidd will celebrate 30 years of ministry.

Pastor is married to his wife of 30 years, Stephanie. They have two daughters who are both married and serving faithfully in the church, along with two grandsons and two grandaughters.
